I've just ordered one of these from the states, with the intent of doing the same thing. The gauge as 2 harnesses 1(6 pin) to the sensor the other (4 pin) contains 4 wires red>10-18 volt power, black>earth, blue>seriel output and then the white>0-5 volt analogue output. The white wire is the one that should supply the narrow band signal however this is what the intructions say: When connecting to a third party EFI system, the AEM UEGO gauge’s WHITE Analog Output wire shall be connected to the analog O2 sensor input of that system. Consult the documentation provided with the system for detailed instructions.

This in it's self doesn’t give a definitive answer as to whether it will work with the Nissan ECU because all the instructions say is ‘ third party’. The way I understand it if the Nissan ECU uses a 0-5 volt 02 signal then it should be fine. I’m sure someone on here will know for sure if this will be OK or not and if indeed the std ECU uses a 0-5volt feed. Also there's a lot of info on the Aem power website, they have a forum (you need to register) which contains downloadable manuals/instructions/wiring etc.

Hey who has installed a wide band O2 sensor for use with Megasquirt? What's the best sensor to. I checked out the Innovate Motorsports WB sensor (will check out the other one in a bit). So it looks like you use the. 1-2V 10-20:1 AFR' #unset INNOVATE_0_5_LINEAR 'Innovate, PLX 0-5V 10-20:1 AFR'. I've only just registered so I can't say what level info it contains but it seems as good a place as any to begin searching. Nope, the AEM UEGO does both. You just need to set the POT on the back of the gauge. I'll dig out the instructions tomorrow. IT has a built in emulator for 4 different output 0-1 (factory), 0-1 (Linear) 0-5, ect. That's what i get for not reading the instuctions properly, so just to clarify if set on pot 3 (0-1volt) and it emulates the stock o2 sensor signal and therefore the ECU will see it as such and be happy:thumbs:, so I can remove the std o2 sensor replace it with the Aem (Bosch w/b) sensor and connect the white output wire(from the Aem gauge) to the black ECU feed wire? Athough set on pot 3 the signal range is actually 0>0.5 volts AFR 10 (rich) = 0.0volts to AFR 18.50 (lean) = 0.425volts and not 0>1.0 as stated will this have any effect on the way the ECU interprets and acts on the input?

Biology Campbell Pdf 9th Planet. Hi I have just bought the AEM Uego. Set the pot on P4. But can i put the O2 sensor where the original in my S14a was? Is it to close to the exhaust port, is i counted from the engine-head or from the turbo? The manual says: 'A weld-in M18 X 1.5 boss is supplied for sensor installation. Mount the O2 sensor in the exhaust system at least 18 inches downstream from the exhaust port.

If you anticipate high EGT's (over 800C), run a turbocharger, run at high RPM for extended periods of time or plan on running leaded race fuel then you must mount the sensor at least 36 inches or more downstream of the exhaust port as all of these can cause the sensor to overheat. On turbocharged engines the UEGO sensor must be installed after the turbo charger, if not, the pressure differential will greatly affect the accuracy of the unit. For accurate readings, the sensor must be mounted before catalytic converters and/or auxiliary air pumps. To prevent collection of liquids between the sensor housing and sensor element during the cold start phase, the installation angle should be inclined at least 10° from horizontal with the electrical connection upwards'.

The DM-6 + SM-AFR Gen4 Gauge Combo is a tuner grade Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband oxygen sensor controller with 2 1/16' touch screen gauge. Accurately reads the air/fuel ratio of any internal combustion from 0.68 Lambda to 1.36 Lambda (10:1 - 20:1 AFR *Gasoline).

Fully plug and play, no sensor calibration is required. Compatible with Gasoline, Diesel, Ethanol, Methanol, E85, LPG, CNG. Accurate to 0.1AFR with less than 100mS reaction time from rail to rail.
